Size Chart
To ensure your polo fits after multiple washings and if you also wear an undershirt, the polo fabric will be cut 1/3 size larger than standard cut sizes.
So, if you wear another brand’s X-Large Polo and it fits or is slightly snug, then our X-Large polo will fit “comfortably”*. If on the other hand; the other brand’s Polo X-large is “perfect or slightly loose”**, then you may consider ordering one size smaller than what you normally wear. Our polo’s were created with long term wear in mind and in the event they shrink due to high heat drying; the polo will wear as the size promised.
* The term “comfortably” refers to the polo having very little to no skin contact around the torso and abdomen area.
** “Perfect or slightly loose” is referring to the other brand’s polo that wears as desired in its NEW unwashed condition.
Some shirts that are non-polyester or polyester/cotton mix will shrink with washing and drying. Please consider this when placing your order to avoid getting a too small or large polo.

Description
The Longhorn, (Bos bos,) was adopted on June 16, 1995, as the Texas Large Mammal. The longhorn became the official “large state” when Governor George W. Bush signed House Concurrent Resolution No. 178.
The Texas Longhorn was fashioned entirely by nature in North America. Stemming from ancestors that were the first cattle to set foot on American soil almost 500 years ago, it became the end product of “survival of the fittest”. Today’s Texas longhorn is a hybrid breed resulting from a random mixing of Spanish retinto (criollo) stock and English cattle that Anglo-American frontiersmen brought to Texas from southern and mid-western states in the 1820s and 1830s.
The Longhorn shaped by a combination of natural selection and adaptation to the environment, the Texas Longhorn is the only cattle breed in America which – without aid from a man – is truly adapted to America.
With the destruction of the buffalo following the Civil War, the Longhorns were rushed in to occupy the Great Plains, a vast empire of grass vacated by the buffalo. Cattlemen brought their breeding herds north to run on the rich grazing lands of western Nebraska, Wyoming, the Dakotas, and Montana. Thus, the Great Plains became stocked largely with these “bovine citizens” from the Southwest. And, the Texas Longhorns adapted well to their expanding world.
Criollo cattle are of solid color ranging from Jersey tan to cherry red. Black Longhorns are few and brindles are rare.
The Longhorn also serves as the mascot for the University of Texas.
The Longhorn camouflage pattern is modeled after the (M81) pattern and displays four color tones and a pattern that’s seen on the ”Classic” pattern polo’s. The Longhorn’s colors are black, light-grey, white, and Jersey tan (orange). The pattern has been woven to give an aggressive, contrast, but classic look.
